NGC 6849 (20h 06.3m -40° 12') The NGC position from JH is exactly 5 minutes in RA W of this position! The declination is identical. The ESO-LV also lists this fairly bright galaxy as N6849, though. Harold Corwin says the identification is probably wrong. |
