NGC 3247 (10h 25.9m -57° 56')
Discovered by JH (h3250) and observed on three sweeps. The RA was never
measured accurately (nearest minute on sweep 435) and the PD is very rough
on two sweeps. His rough (mean) position is 10 24.8 -57 51 (2000). ESO
and Lynga identify N3247 = E127-SC19 at 10 25.9 -57 56 (2000) which is 1.0
tmin following h's position (and 5' S). There is a noticeable group of
stars at this position.

In the IC 2 notes, Stewart gives a corrected position of 10 23 58 -57 48.5.
Skiff identifies N3247 at the similar position 10 24 01 -57 45.6. This
object is listed as Westerlund 2 = OCL-807 in Lynga. So, identification is
uncertain.
