NGC 3046 (09h 53.3m -27° 19') JH noted in his observation of h3199 that "RA precarious; a hurried observation". Possibly identical to N3051. The Cape position is 30" S of a mag 14.6 GSC star and identified as a star in RNGC and ESO.
